First Lady Melania Trump tries really hard to put up a somewhat united front with her husband, President Donald Trump.
But as with most celebrity marriages – which is all this really is, regardless of Trump’s current leadership position – rumors abound as to the true nature of their relationship. Most sources view the marriage as being on the rocks, and those folks seem to have plenty of evidence to support their feelings.
A spokesperson for Mrs. Trump, Stephanie Grisham, says that the First Lady “is focused on being a mom”. Of course, that statement doesn’t mention Mrs. Trump’s feelings on being the wife of the president.
According to sources close to the family, Mrs. Trump doesn’t like that “all eyes are on her relationship with her husband” and that “She is very, very unhappy with her life…If she could, she would get away from Donald and just be with her son.”
As evidence to support these sources, one need only look at the very little time Mrs. Trump seems to spend with her husband. She even regularly chooses to travel solo in motorcades as opposed to with the president. Incidents of traveling even short distances separately from her husband include the ride to her husband’s first State of the Union address.
Even the eleven mile ride from the White House to Andrews Air Force Base was too much for Melania to bear. She had been scheduled to ride a helicopter to the base with Trump, but instead decided to meet her husband there after arriving via motorcade.
Seems like every week, someone else leaves the White House. Perhaps before too long, we’ll find out Melania is the next one getting away.
