Rudy Giuliani, former mayor of New York City, has recently re-entered the public’s collective mind by discussing the nefarious doings of President Donald Trump.
During an interview with Fox News’s Sean Hannity, Giuliani let slip that Trump did in fact reimburse his attorney for payments made to Stormy Daniels in an effort to keep the president’s affair with Ms. Daniels a secret. Giuliani is obviously a staunch supporter of Trump, even though Trump’s morals and actions are clearly not in line with the Republican Party’s feelings on “family values”.
What makes Giuliani’s hypocrisy even more blatant is remembering his verbal attacks against Hillary Clinton concerning her husband’s extra-marital activities during the 2016 Presidential Campaign.
Giuliani made the rounds during 2016’s campaign in support of Donald Trump. Instead of highlighting any of Trump’s positive merits (perhaps because there are none), Giuliani decided to regularly attack and attempt to discredit Hillary Clinton. During one particular interview, Giuliani stated that Hillary was “too dumb to be president” because she didn’t know about the affair between her husband, then-President Bill Clinton and White House Aide Monica Lewinsky. He also questioned Hillary’s intelligence since she chose to stand by her husband during the fallout after his affair became public knowledge.
This information leads one to two possible conclusions. Either extra-marital affairs make one unworthy of holding the office of President of the United States of America, and prove a person possesses little to no intelligence, or Giuliani is a huge hypocrite who only thinks adultery is bad when committed by Democrats. Given the fact that Giuliani himself has committed adultery, and claims that “everybody” does so, saying he is a blatant hypocrite is probably the correct conclusion.
